Kind Elephant Saved Woman!
The sun was setting when the woman slipped from the muddy riverbank, her cry swallowed by rushing water. The current pulled at her clothes, dragging her toward deeper ground where fear tightened her chest. She struggled, but the river was stronger. Just then, a low, gentle rumble echoed from the trees.
An elephant stepped into view, massive yet calm. Its wise eyes focused on the woman as if understanding her panic. Without hesitation, the elephant moved forward, planting its feet firmly in the mud. The water swirled around its legs, but it stood steady, unafraid.
Slowly, carefully, the elephant extended its trunk toward her. The trunk brushed her arm, warm and strong. Gathering her last strength, the woman grabbed hold. With surprising gentleness, the elephant lifted her from the river’s grip and guided her back onto solid ground.
She collapsed, shaking, but safe. The elephant paused, watching until her breathing steadied. Then, as quietly as it had appeared, it turned and disappeared into the fading light of the forest.
