Can the Mother Elephant Save Her Baby?
The early morning sun cast a golden glow across the savannah as a small herd of elephants marched slowly through the tall grass. Among them was a gentle mother elephant with her tiny baby close by her side. The newborn calf, only a few weeks old, still struggled to keep up, but the mother watched every step carefully. The world was beautiful, but it was also filled with hidden dangers.
Suddenly, a loud rustle came from the bushes nearby. The mother froze, her ears lifting high and her trunk swinging toward the sound. She sensed danger before she even saw it. A hungry lion emerged slowly from the thick grass, its golden eyes fixed on the baby elephant. The mother immediately trumpeted, shaking the ground with her warning. The calf trembled, instinctively moving closer to her massive legs.
The lion crept closer, hoping for an easy meal. However, the mother elephant would not run. She spread her ears wide, making herself look even bigger. With a fierce cry, she charged forward, dust rising beneath her powerful feet. The lion hesitated, then quickly backed away, realizing that this battle was not worth the risk.
