Gorilla Leads Audience on Run Play So Funny

Gorilla Leads Audience on Run Play So Funny

At the city zoo’s outdoor theater, visitors gathered for what was supposed to be a calm animal enrichment show. But the star of the afternoon—an energetic silverback gorilla named Kimo—had his own hilarious plans. As the keeper tried to demonstrate how gorillas learn commands, Kimo suddenly clapped his hands, beat his chest, and took off running across the field. To everyone’s surprise, the audience instinctively followed him!

Children laughed and chased behind, thinking it was part of the show. Parents joined in too, waving their arms and cheering as Kimo turned back to look at them, clearly amused. He stopped halfway, pounded his chest again, and let out a playful roar that echoed through the park. Then, like a mischievous coach, he motioned as if telling everyone to run faster. The crowd burst into laughter, sprinting after him once more.

Even the zookeepers couldn’t stop laughing. It was clear Kimo wasn’t being naughty—he was just having fun and showing off his cleverness. When he finally sat down, he clapped his hands and looked proud of himself, as if saying, “Good job, team!”

That spontaneous “gorilla run” became the funniest moment of the day. People left the zoo still smiling, telling each other that Kimo had given them not just a show—but an unforgettable workout!
