Smart Baby Gorilla
In the heart of the dense rainforest, a baby gorilla named Kiko was quickly becoming the pride of his troop. Unlike other young gorillas who spent most of their time tumbling and playing, Kiko showed a remarkable sense of curiosity and intelligence. He watched his mother closely, learning how to peel fruit with careful fingers. When he couldn’t reach the ripest bananas hanging high, he stacked sticks and climbed on top, surprising even the older gorillas.
One day, while the troop was resting, a stream blocked their path. Most of the gorillas hesitated, unsure of how to cross. But Kiko observed the fallen branches nearby. With determination, he dragged a thick stick to the water, testing it as a bridge. Slowly, he walked across, balancing his tiny feet until he reached the other side. The adults soon followed, impressed by his clever solution.
Kiko also loved mimicking sounds. He imitated birds, startling them into flight, and even tried copying the chest-beating of the silverback leader. Though small, his clever tricks made the troop laugh and admire him. Everyone knew Kiko would grow into a wise and resourceful leader one day. For now, he was simply the smart baby gorilla of the forest.
